Christmas Green Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint
Black Flash FolkArt Color Shift Acrylic Paint

Baking Soda/Flour
Paint brush
Styrofoam

Let’s grab your supplies, channel your inner artist, and let’s get crafting!

Step 1: Paint the Ornaments

Here you will paint the ornaments your desired color scheme. I wanted more of a moody neutral themed look. I went with a darker green, brown, black, and tan.

Paint 1 layer on them and let them dry completely.

Step 2: Let them dry

Here i took a styrofoam piece i had laying around. I took toothpicks and allowed the ornaments to hang from the toothpicks to dry.

Once dry, you will paint on a 2nd layer!

Once you have the second layer on and they are still wet, sprinkle on the desired amount of baking soda to the ball ornaments. Let is sit on the ornaments and dry!

You will then brush off the baking soda.

Step 3: Add the accent

Come in with the accent colors. I used gold on all of them. I dipped the sponge into the gold and dabbed it all over the ornament.

Do not worry if you get to much accent color on there. You can then come back with the main color dip the sponge in that color and dab over the accent to help blend.

Once you have your desired look with the colors and blending, you will then sprinkle on another layer of baking soda. Let dry, brush off, and you are ready to decorate your home!!
