A paper bag tree is not only a great table embellishment, it is also a wonderful way to display jewelry. Things you’ll need:
Paper bag
Scissors
Rocks (to weigh your bag down)
Things to do:
1. Cut the open top of your bag into vertical strips that end just past the middle of your bag.
2. Open your bag and place your rocks inside to weigh your bag down.
3. Twist the bottom half of your bag to create your trunk with the rocks on the bottom of your bag and the strips on the top of your bag.
4. Begin creating your tree branches by twisting 2-4 paper strips together. Make sure the ends are twisted especially tight.
5. Once you have twisted all of your strips into branches, begin hanging your favorite pairs of earrings on your jewelry tree display! If some of your branches are too weak to support earrings, simply combine branches by twisting more strips together.
